I have a Dyna Fat Bob 2009 and I bought shortshots staggered exhaust, but my issue is that I don't have the mounting bracket 398-P.
I tried to contact V&H and they explain to me they can sell the bracket for ~35$ but the shipping to France is upward 300~..
​​​​​​Here in Europe I just can't find the bracket, so I'm asking here to know if somebody can send me the dimension of the bracket then I will see to make it with a pro here

How big and heavy is the bracket? I've shipped Mercedes sway bars to France and it didn't cost that much. I'd be willing to ship the bracket to you. I usually use our postal service as it's the least amount of hassle.

 

There's no way the shipping would be anywhere around 300 in either Dollars or Euro's!

This is the mail that they send me. But I don't know why this Is so much expensive.

 

I've gotten items shipped to me, in the middle of the USA, all the way from China that only ran me less than $10.00. Something is off . Take the bike along with the exhaust to any machine shop that has been in business for any amount of time and they can certainly fabricate that bracket for you.

 

Yes I can fabricate it for you with the bike and pipe in hand but our shop rate is $130.00 an hr. and would take me at least 1-2 hrs as I have already prototyped this very bracket 2 years ago but the gentleman never sent the fabricated aluminum prototype back to me so I would have to start all over again.

This bracket is not a $30 - $50 proposition.

 

Words are nice, but the true test of whether someone really appreciated your effort (uncompensated in that particular case) is holding up their end of the bargain (the little that it would've been)
