BROKEN ripped riveted leather buckle connector soft saddlebag need help
2003 Harley-Davidson FXDWG wide glide, bags are 100 year anniversary. The riveted leather connecter that hugs the buckle latch prong ripped now I have to bungee cord the left side and right starting to have same issue HELP!

My 98 Heritage Springer had one of those tear.
What I did to replace it is go to a couple Goodwill's until I found a leather belt for a couple bucks the same thickness.
Used the old one for a pattern, cut it out with a carpet knife and bought a cheap Amazon leather punch to make the hole.
Used a two piece screw together rivot from hobby lobby with some blue lock tite in it to clamp it back up.
What I did to replace it is go to a couple Goodwill's until I found a leather belt for a couple bucks the same thickness.
Used the old one for a pattern, cut it out with a carpet knife and bought a cheap Amazon leather punch to make the hole.
Used a two piece screw together rivot from hobby lobby with some blue lock tite in it to clamp it back up.
