Default Tell me everything about this '92 SuperGlide Custom...

I bought this as my first bike and would love to hear everything you guys know about it! Everything from motorquirks, riding tips and tricks for this particular bike, upgrade suggestions, etc... ANYTHING! Thanks guys! Remember, I'm new to this world, so don't assume I know anything.

Here's a pic and the specs that I know...

- Stage 1 kit (what does this mean exactly?)
- New battery with connector installed to keep it on a charger all winter (without having to remove the battery)

I should also mention that even though I saw newer used bikes a little over my price range, I really like the looks of these slightly older models. This is the look I've always preferred. The guys at the dealership said this bike gets ridden alot by guys that work there, because it's unusual to see a '92 in this great of condition and they think it's pretty cool. Could've been blowing smoke, though, I dunno.

If that was my bike I wouldn't do anything to it...just keep it well-maintained, maybe get another seat (maybe solo?) & just ride it! Nice bike, enjoy!

Thanks! Yeah, I like the look of a solo seat much more, but the wifey thinks she'll enjoy riding on the back. If she realized she doesn't like it, I'll change it out real quick.

Even for riding 2-up, I'd still get another more lower-profile 2-up seat that goes with the natural lines of the bike more. Is that even the original stock seat? You could get the current FXDC stock seat like in the pic attached below on mine? Alot of people like the Low Rider 2-up stock seat as well.

The service guy did tell me that it's the stock seat, which according to him, you don't see very often. I agree the seat is a little cheesy looking... I'm sure I'll end up doing something about that at some point. I can't believe I'm already putting together a list of things to upgrade, but I am. Some ideas are billet grips like in the pic below.

Also wanting to put on a chrome tank dash and leather tank panel. I think that alone would add quite a bit to the looks.

Looks to be in Nice Shape stock seat is unusual because it did not look good and is uncomfortable so everyone changed them. It will be up to you and your taste other than that ride safeand enjoy

Here's a dumb newbie question, but I assume that it's really easy to change a seat. Is that correct?
