Cool thread...sintax, I like what you did with your bike...might have to steal that bottle opener idea.
up in minot...I see myself doing something similar to you or sintax in terms of the side mount bracket. Has anyone actually gotten pulled over for not installing a light of some sort for the license plate? I might just take the route of letting the tail light and blinkers illuminate it...

hey sin... your bike looks great! What kind of wires are those? tint out your turn signal lenses... take about a hour but is well worth it! Get a can of spray tint... sand them down till they are tough... wash them with dish washing soap to pull off any oils and crap then just start layering on the tint... light coats and lots of them! after that you can wet sand them down to shine them up and clear them or what i did was just put on a few light layers of clear and kept the matt black look i love it!
here are a few pics... bottle opener is tight! I got mine just got to powder coat it as well... i forgot who's bike i saw that on but after i did i had to have it... very nice bud!

I no longer have the signals on my bike. I ended up going with 16" black apes to match the bike and removed the front signals at that point. The rears came off just a few days ago for an integrated Kuryakyn tail light. Looks the same as the one in the (not old) photo set, but went with a smoked lens instead of red.
