Default looking for new exhaust on my bob

hi there,
pls accept my apologies if this question already come up...
I'll be in the states in january for a few days and I'm about to bring some new pipes for my bob. I'd prefer black one's but it seems to be hard to find the "real deal". RB Racing is carrying real cool one's but currently not available for Dyna's...V&H short staggered seem to be nice but too loud ( I live in germany)...whatever you can recommend pls go ahead and let me know.

thx in advance
gregor

Have you tried the Shortshots with the quiet baffles? I recently fitted a pair andthey do make a deeper, quieter, and in my opinion better sound.

referring to the other posts about the quiet baffles, they're not remarkable quieter...maybe I'll get the chance to hear them "live" in january...unfortunately here in germany no dealer is carrying V&H exhausts, much less only a few have the heart to ride with loud pipes over here...

Most straight pipes are loud even with baffles. The baffles really just change the tone. I don't think you'd be able to get black like you want but have you considered slip-ons instead? Can get a little more sound and rumble without getting too loud.

I already do have the SE II black slip-ons on my bike, but I want turn the look away from exhaust-slip-ons to 2-in2 "clean" look...just 2 pipes without the connecting pipe...

You may need to get used to some volume then. I like solid pipes better too but I have my heart set on V&H Big Radius's and they are a little out of my pocket book right now. I'm hoping Santa will come see me one last time. I'm not sure you'll find anything V&H makes in a straight pipe "quiet" with or without baffles. But, that's not a bad thing in my book.

Yo,
I'm running the Bassani Pro Streets on my 07 Bob and really like them. Obviously, I don't have heat shields installed, but will order some for when it gets warmer. Plus they will 'hide' the welds where the pipes are stepped.
Good sound and I so far I really like the black finish.
Good luck!
Blair

PS Sorry for the poor pic, its from a phone and all I have available at this time.
