Night_Train01: I hope you have a strong grip! That much juice with that seat/fender could be trouble.

Mine is fast enough. If I wanted to go faster I would have saved about $10,000.

I'm at 103/106 on my build. Really nice tq curve that's over 90 at 2000 then over 100 at 3200 RPM. If I have the wife on back and whip the throttle open at 4100+ RPM, I'm on one wheel.

With the tire and suspension work, I was doing 80-90 through the twisties on 35 from Prescott, WI to Bay City. It's pretty easy and smooth at 100 but I haven't yet pushed her much beyond that. Redline in 2nd has me doing 70.

Now, I'm sure there are faster, but I'm pretty happy where my skoot is at.

All I know is the contact patches at 100+ are very very small.

Don't forget to upgrade your brakes every time you upgrade horsepower!

Or just do them anyway...

My Low Rider was outrunning its breaks with just a solid stage I... at 76hp/85tq... the stock breaks are pretty weak...

TOTALLY AGREE!!! The suspension, breaking, etc. should match the engine build so you can safely tap the potential of the power.

October was engine build for me. Over the winter was racing tires, new shocks and fork springs, Lyndall Z-plus pads with a good brake cleaning, and a fork brace. At 100 mph I cannot believe how smooth things are. I've really got to watch things as 80-90 is a very comfortable 2-up cruising speed, and if I get ticketed then I owe the wife jewelry or furniture.
