I have searched and searched and found alot of different answers to this. (11.6 or 12"). When measuring eye to eye it doesn't make any difference if they are on the bike or not does it? I can't imagine they are compressed on the bike but I don't know so if someone can clear this up that would help. Progressive is telling me the stock length is 12" but that's not what I measure....

I have run in to this same problem with other parts (ex: handlebars), I have the service manual and the 06 parts manual so I know the HD part# but if I search HD the part numbers are not found and the parts catalog doesn't give specs. Is there anywhere that I am missing that a guy can look up part#s and find specs like shock length, handlebar pullback/rise/width, etc. stuff like that?
