New to the site was reading through a couple of pages and realized there were 163 pages to read! So a skipped to the end and thanks for some great ideas been a sports guy for a while and just got a superglide standard last year. So far I've just painted a bunch of parts head light, forks, air cleaner cover, battery trim, horn cover, belt guard, rear strut covers, license plate frame, and tail light trim all gloss black. And stock heat shields black. Did some digging in the factory mufflers to poor to buy pipes. I'm partial to spikes its fairly simple to go to your local emo/gothic kids clothing store and get some screw back spikes drill a few holes somewhere and you got some kick *** spikes, belt guards, air cleaners, renders etc... Made a kick *** air cleaner on my last sport that way

No I like my bike made with metal and bolts not plastic and chop sticks. Had a xl1200c traded for a fat bob almost killed myself at 110mph bought an iron 883 with the insurance money and financed a buell, and last year I ended up getting rid of both and went back to dyna. There's my story in a nutshell lol about the last five years anyhow

all just bolt on parts that i removed and painted except the forks, i added some photos to my albums if you wanna see more. found it easier to remove the front wheel and taped parts of the forks didnt want sprayed. used a couple trash bags to cover the rest of the front end.

and the air cleaner was fairly simple just drilled some holes cleaned em up and rattled canned it. used screw back spikes altogether was only about $35 for a badass cover
