Default Big Radius VS Big Shots - Its one of these two for sure now!

Hey all,

lol I know I've really been debating on which pipes to get, but I think it comes down to these two. My question is..

What sort of performance gains should I be expecting between these two pipes? Will either one give me more then the other?

And as far as sound, which one do you all think sound better? I love the look of them both, so either one will do me well.. just trying to decide which ones sound better from you guys. And louder isBETTER in my books, so keep that in mind.

Thank you all for putting up with my rubbish!

Cheers,
Adrian

Go the Big Radius, I've got them on my '04 Wideglide and they look sweet.
My riding buddies reckon there louder as the sound echo's off the road, because of the shape...and that's with bafffles in..

you won't be dissapointed

I'm in the same boat trying to figure out what pipes to put on. I have been listening to alot of bikes and really searching for info on this forum and elsewhere, so I'll throw in my two cents on these pipes. To my ear, Big Shots are some of the best sounding pipes around - loud and they haveasweetdeep rumble. Big Radius are probably equally as loud, but to me, they don't seem to have as quite as deep of a tone, they still sound good though. Performance wise, I have not seen too many strong opinions either way, so there probably isn't that much of a difference. Looks wise, Big Shots Staggereds look good on most every bike. Big Radius either look really good or out of place, depending on what kind of bike you have.

Thanks for the input everyone. These pipes will be going on an 06' street bob, with passenger pillion and sissy bar (the girlfriend package).

Does anyone have any pictures with a 2 up seat, sissy barand the big radius pipes? I don't think I've seen any like that..
Or any pics of the big shots with 2 up seat and sissy bar?

From what I have read the Big Shots should give more gains performance wise. The Big Radius are a 2 into 2 whereas the Big Sots use the "power chamber" which V&H claims gives 2 into 1 performance with the look of a 2 into 2.

The Big Radius is a 2 into 1 system.

The big radius has two styles. There is a two into two, as shown above. However they also have a big radius two into one, wich just came out this year..

Click on my pics icon to see the big shots on my '06 FXDCI with touring seat and sissy bar. I know it's not a Street Bob, but you'll get the idea.
