RE: Do your arms get tired with the ape hangers?
I've got 18" apes on my Street Bob and yes, myarmsoccasionally get tired and my hands go numb. Unfortunately, they also do this during other activatesso I think it's more a general physiological conditionwith me opposed to the Apes. I tend to use the friction **** on the throttle quite often to give both hands and arms a rest.
Toughest ride I've done with the 18" apes was about 225-250 miles into a 30-40 mile head wind down the Interstate at speed. Could have used a backrest. My arms and back were aching after that ride...

13 inch apes on mine. They are just about shoulder height for ms since I have them rolled forward to accomadate my long *** arms. Have'nt gotten much time in over 50 miles yet so I can't say for sure on long distance. Around town I like them so much better than my stock bars.
Was leary of the issue you are describing which is why I went with the 13's versus 16's. At the very least I can always put taller risers on if I decide I want them higher up.
