Default Fat Bob, catalytic converter?

Is it true that the Fat Bob doesn't havea catalytic convertor in the exhaust pipe like other Dyna's? I thought I'd heard that HD may have got an exception for 08 Fat Bob's?

Thanks

Storm, it looks like in your picture you've got mid controls with forward pegs, is that correct? If so how do you like that arrangement? I've been debating between mid and forward controls. Also, what seat is that and did it change the distance to the foot controls? It look like it might move you further back on the bike.

Thanks

I am inseam challenged. I HAD to get mid controls because it was just too much of a stretch for forwards. I love the hiway pegs. I even had to modify the upper mounting point as they basically put me in that too stretched out position. So I added a hole that rotated them bad to me an inch or so. The seat is a Lepara Silhouette. I love it. It puts be back an inch or so and also lowers me well over an inch. Word of warning....if you plan on long rides....put the stock seat back on it.

Then why does the owners manual say: On page 28. All FXDF models are equipped with catalytic converters.

Not trying to start a war here but I'll write what is on page 28 of my 2008 Dyna Models owners manual.... "All FXDF models are equipped with catalytic converters. For all other Dyna models, only international, Japan, and Californiamarkets include catalytic converters." So take that information for what it's worth. I assume the motor company would put out fairly accurate information in its owner manuals but you never know.
