Default Kuryakyn Switchblade Footpegs

Has anyone put the kuryakyn switchblade footpegs on a fat bob yet. I am considering getting them but I am concerend about scraping. I love taken corners on the fat bob it handles so well on long turns and dont want to ruin it. So any input on the pegs will be appreciated. Also want to know if it makes for a more comfortable ride.

I have them on my Street Bob with forwards. I like them, quite well. They do scrape a little, but the part that scrapes is a easily replaceable part. It makes for a very comfortable ride as you don't have to keep your feet on the pegs with as much pressure, the heel/stirup part keeps your feet on the pegs.

I agree with shooter. I have them on my 07 superglide (forwards) and I like them. More comfort for sure.

I also agree with the others, having the heel rest for longer or even short rides is great, never been a big fan of floor boards on sportier bikes so adding the H-D Heel rests was the best investment I have made.
Didn't get a chance to see the Kurakyan' till after I got the H-Ds but wish I had, The moco ones you tend to put your heel more on the support then you do the pad, but who cares, the riding comfort makes up for it..

Just bought and received mine for my street bob w/ forward controls. Hey, how hard did you all have to crank down that end allen bolt to keep the peg from turning with foot pressure? Did you use anything with the bolt to keep it sticking?? I found that most of the little allen bolts were quite loose from the factory so recommend cinching them down except the stirrup tension spring one.

Trent, the end allen bolt on my swithblades had just about backed all the way out by the time I got to Sturgis last year. I borrowed wrenches from the Kuryaken booth and took them apart, tightening everything up, something I neglected to do when I put them on before the trip. I do like them on my WG. Its like having mini floorboards.

Thanks for the feedback I definatley want to put them on my fat bob. I also have forwards on my bike and thursday was my first ride on it I only did 42 miles (45degrees) and got a little leg fatigue. I am only 5'8 so the forwards aren't to bad a stretch but I think this will cure my problem. I can't wait for the weather to get better so I can do some more riding.
