Where can I put a inspection sticker plate on my '98 FXD? Right now I have the sticker on my left fork,and it looks like s**t. I have forward controls on the bike,and there dosn't seem to be a good spot to put the plate. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

I have a small plate attached to my upper belt cover bolt, and it rests on the swingarm. I thing J&P sells them or you can make one.

 

I found a perfect place for mine....it's lamenated in my wallet. Looks great there.

 

Mine in the middle of the down tubes right behind my fork bag.

I've never been known to be Law biding, and don't really care to be. You can see what I did with my sticker in the pic, if I bother getting it inspected again I'll do it again too.

If you have the factorystand up licenseplate bracketput it on the backside of the license plate.

 

I have mine on a plate that is attached to the middle of the downtubes. There was a bolt hole already there so I just used it.

 

Here is a location which I believe to meet Virginia requirements stating the sticker must be plainly visible from the left side. I know this is where my local dealer puts em on their new bikes.

Jmpancoast mine was hanging down like yours but I turned it sidewaysbecause it looked like before thatit may be blocking airflow to the cylinders.
