Default Soggy (new) Hoggy

Pickin up my Fat Bob tomorrow. Weather is supposed to suck big time. Morning might not be so bad so will try to be at the dealer when they open.
If the weather changes it's mind and I end up riding it home in the thunderstorms they are predicting later in the day, i might have to call the bike "Blue Thunder". Heck that sounds so good maybe I'll call it that for the hell of it. Beats the hell out of "Soggy Hoggy"..........
Oh well, wish me duck, er, luck!!!

Yeah I have ridden since the mid 80's I guess and have rode alot, just first hog. My 2 bros both have them so I have ridden them a bit. So yeah I been soaked to the skin before and will be again I'm sure. Worst part? Walking after the ride........squish squish squish squish. Anyone else ever get wrinkled toes from your feet getting soaked on a cycle??? Like for over an hour?
Laters. I'll try to post pics if they'll fit the page.

It went OK, really. Started to rain on the way up to the dealer (about 50 miles away, worth it for a GOOD dealer!). Was doin the paper work and I kept looking out, rain rain, more rain. Got darker and darker, dark enough for street lights to start comin on and really pourin' *** rain. OH BOY this is gonna be a wet one! Nope. Got done with the papers and did the inspection (my bud the service manager actually did the inspection with me, which sure as hell ain't in his job description I'm sure! I have pics of this I'll try to post).
So yeah got er home with just wet/sticky pants from road spray! It was a mess. I shoulda got pics of it before I cleaned it. I got it standing pretty tall now.
NEAT revelation that I'll probably start a thread on, this thing comes stock with a throttle friction screw?? SO cool, I figured that would be one big "Beemer thing" I was gonna miss. Hell even BMW makes you buy the screw, pop out a cap plug and install the screw. I was cleaning the bike wondering if there was a way to add a friction screw and holy hell, there it IS!! Already installed even!
OK, story time over, let me see if I can get pics up.
