Looks nice. Now paint the fender rails black and you're done.[sm=smiley20.gif]

I was thinking of having the fender rails and turn signals powdercoated black but now that the fender is on there I kinda like it chrome. I'm not for having everything on the bike black. The tins are already Vivid Black. I also need the chrome at this point to help with the illusion of seeing through the fender (above the rails). I'm thinking if I have some old school hot rod flames painted then if the area above the rails is orange or red then I'll think about powdercoating the rails black. As long as it isn't the same color the illusion works. I got this from the Nightster. They fill in the space above the rail with a black insert (for safety I'm guessing) and it doesn't look right on the all black bikes. It looks killer with the orange fender though. Thanks for the feedback!

It was just a private seller but I think I saw the same fender in the '08 J&P catalogue on pg 959. It looked a lot like item 710-404 but the fender I bought is 8 1/2". The part might be 710-403.

I'm thinking Progressives 11" HD. I'm planning to go to a 16" rear wheel to use Avon's whitewalls. I'll go 21" up front and lower the front 2" with the Progressive springs. Should come out OK w/o much loss in cornering.

It looks great, in fact it really doesn't look too bad with the full size shocks. It gives it a kind of an aggressive look maybe go with the 180 tire next
