I have these on my 07 Superglide and they sound great. I like the sound much better then the Rush slip ons.

Do you have to remap with these? My local shop wants close to 1500 for VH short shots Stage 1 AC race tuner and dyno time. If I can get these straight shot slip ons for 200-300 bucks I could do that now instead of having to save up that money... kinda tired of the sewing machine sound coming from my stock exhaust.

My 08fxdc has no motor or airbox alterations , with the Quiet baffles in my straightshots I have had no need to remap and I have run it all summer in heat over 100 degrees and I put 300 miles on it in this weekend in New Englands Cold 38 degree morning 55 degree midday temps ,and my plugs are still a nice light tan. It ran great and NO ONE mistook this bike for a sewing machine : ) .........for those of you in the warmer areas of the USA ........ Nothing thumps like a big twin in 30 degree air.

I recently installed the v & h straight shot slip ons onto my 07 sportster and oh my God!!! they are much louder.. failed inspection due to the lack of baffle so I may go to the quieter baffle myself. If it does not pass inspection again.. oh well, ride on..

When I opened the box for the pipes.. It included all hardware: pipes, clamps, bolts, etc.

hope this helps...

Default 07 Dyna with straightshot slipons

Anybody have the correct Powercommander 3 map for 07 Dyna with straightshots slipons and K&N?
The Dynojet tech support says..All slipons are just about the same.
I dont know if I believe that since all slipons dont have the same back pressure.
Dont want to ruin my bike on a long run by running it to lean.(hot)
Any feedback would be appreciated.

I had these pipes on my Sportster 1200 and liked them so much I ordered a set for my present ride. ( Heritage) .
And yes...they are much louder than stock...even with q. baffles.
they also look good.

all the best with your choice
