Sorry to disagree, but his MPG may be right on.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; Around town for each of is differeent. Mine is block to block, stop signs red lights etc.
&nbsp\\;The big 96 likes to drink,&nbsp\\; mine is pretty close to his in MPG.

I'm thinking of just sucking it up and getting the SERT and a new AC and seeing if that breaks something loose. At least it will run better and get poopy mpg

 

Please believe me Im not questioning your math skills, but you might want to recheck your figures. That gas mileage is really low.

 

Mine got 39 MPG in the city when it was stock. Now with the mods, it gets
34 MPG in the city. It performs a lot better than stock so the drop in economy
was worth the better performance. I do a lot of stop and go riding.

 

Tompop, I just filled up a couple days ago. Put in three gallons of gas and ran a total of 80 miles. Not too hard to figure the math on that one...and, that is representative of my mileage. I will say that there is a slight chance that I am not consistent about putting gas in the tank. I am so paranoid about the gas shooting out the top like a geyser, that its possible I am shorting myself on one tank and putting in a lot more on the next. However, I've had Harleys forever and never had a bike with mileage even remotely close to this one.

man... i have no clue what kind of milage my bob gets, people ask me that all the time, same answer i give them, who cars, if my handle is not snapped all the way back at every run i can take then i am not riding it hard enough... I drive a Jeep grand v8 quadra drive, take me a gallon to get out of my driveway! anything is better than that! i take the bike for the week and it cost me twenty some bucks for the week or i take my truck and it cost me 160 for the week... I love the bike!

 

I care about the mileage so that I won't run out of gas as I use my mileage to know when I am running low. It also helps so you know something isn't right with the bike. It doesn't neccesarily mean you are being **** and wanting to ride it like a grandma&nbsp\\;just so you can save gas.

 

They just finished my stage 1 and I checked the mileage yesterday. 2007 FDX, 1700 miles, V & H Pro Pip, Arlin Ness Big Sucker and
a EFI remap. 42 MPG, all city driving.
