Default New switch on my Bob

The only gripe I had with the street bob was the damn ignition switch on the neck.

It&nbsp\\;can&nbsp\\;be done for under&nbsp\\;100 bucks.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;But I had some growing pains on this one.&nbsp\\;I had to buy the right hole saw (1 7/8ths) from Home depot for 24 bucks. Of course the switch itself from J&amp\\;P cycles for 35 bucks plus shipping (harley wanted 114 for the same damn thing) and&nbsp\\;a couple bucks for some connectors and fasteners.&nbsp\\;The aluminum plate I used was donated from a friend.&nbsp\\; I then cut and drilled and painted it into what you see.&nbsp\\;

I said the same thing.&nbsp\\; "why didn't harley put a nice console switch on the Streetbob?"&nbsp\\; I think all Harleys should have a nice, easy to get to switch.&nbsp\\;

Ok I am going to ask a stupid question...(flame time), do you still use a key somewhere? How does this&nbsp\\;switch work?

It looks great. Were the electrical mods pretty straight forward? Does it effect the HD security system at all?
