Street Bob shocks

Was thinking of putting on 11.5" shocks on my 07 Street Bob. Has anyone done this and how did it work out clearance wise? I don't want to lower it too much. I think the stock is 12" but can't find it anywhere in the shop or owners manuals.

take the standards apart and cut them to suit, also while apart you could get them powder coated

Thanks for the threads and the effort to get them. Before I start a new post again I need to do a search.

That's the best idea if all I wanted to do was to lower the bike. Maybe it's just me but I've felt the need to change shocks on every bike I owned. Then I always have to start screwing around with the front end. But that's just me.

12"'s is correct for OEM Streetbob shocks.&nbsp\\; I went with 11s. Plenty of clearance.

+1, went with Progressive 11" HD - never had a problem with bottoming out, but it's real firm!
