I have been hearing this noise comming from the bike for the last month or so. Keep trying to listen down right side and left side front of bike while riding. I also thought it was the heat shields and rode with a pair of gloves so I wouldn't burn my hands Pushed on the gas tank and seat and detachable rack blinkers etc. Just the other day I did notice that the noise would star around50 to 55 mph. Now, so I would start feeling around the coil cover then the battary cover. All of a sudden the noice was created when I hit the battary top cover. Now when I hit the speed she would vibrate then I put my right hand on the cover she would go away. Now the problem is that this is my throttle hand and this is why it was difficult to find. I took off the top and put a piece of rubber around the side and done. just want to pass this on We all know how aggravating a noise can be. It drive you nuts Thanks

It was a wierd langing vibration type of noise. I originally thought of a wheell bearing going Maybe something with the motor but i am glad I did find it driving me upside the head
