For the interested Dyna Riders
I'm a sponsor in here,... RJS Originals, No More fried Thighs! I've been getting an over-whelming amount of requests to provide heat deflectors for this family model. I'm in need of a 09 Dyna Model that's in the vicinity of Clinton, NC. I would need to have your 09 here at my place of business, for no more than 3 days. I will not need to ride your bike. My shop is alarmed and is next to my home. So it is safe here. I will need to make a new pattern to fit the 09's. All that I will be removing from your bike is the seat. I'll pay $150.00 for the use of your scoot. Or when I'm finished making my patterns and a finished set. The rider will have the choice of a new installed set of Deflectors or the cash. Please email me at rjsoriginals@bizland.com or call 910-592-1585.
Thank you, RJ

The seat wont help. I did in the past pretty much perfected them for the 03's But HD kept changing the battery cover. 03's had a square cover. Then they changed em by adding that raised 1/2 round section that wraps around the original square battery cover.
Im not going to make a deflector for each individual year. In the beginning, with the 03 deflectors I made. I only sold 3 sets. Seems back then, no one would admit to the heat bein a problem. Now a days,... More Dyna owners use their scoots for more than just bar hopping. But actually run coast to coast. I have well over 136 emails asking for deflectors. Ive been so swamped with touring and softail model deflectors. That now I do have time to build what you all need for the Dyna family. Does anyone know when they started making that 1/2 rounded center trim that runs around the battery box? I need the year they started doing that. That year will be where I start and what I make as in deflectors will be from that year to the present. Also, the deflectors will only mount correctly to stock set ups. I saw where HD or some company made on the left side of the bike a custom chrome coil cover. That is an elongated rectangle with round ends. The deflectors I have in the planning stage will only fit correctly with the stock coil covers. Not those custom add-ons. Here's a link of what the 2003 deflectors looked like. I will be making a new way for them to install after I perfect their design. http://www.rjsoriginals.bizland.com/2003_dyna.htm Make sure to click the thumb-nail pictures to view.
These are not for sale. They are only as a view so that you can see what I'm up too.
