Hey all,

When I bought my bike, I paid for the stage 1 download cartridge, part number 34238-06. But when I run the diagnostic utility on my bike, it says the part number is 32384-06. What is 32384-06? The stock ecm?

I would really appreciate if a few of you, even '06 owners without the download, could run the diagnostic utility on your speedometer and post the results here. I'm curious if the dealer didn't do the download on my bike, or did a different download than the one I thought I paid for.

Basically, you press and hold the rubber button by the speedo down, and turn the key on the bike (but don't start the engine). The code I'm interested in is the "P" code - the first one. It should first say "none" (which means there are no trouble codes) and then the part number will scroll across.

hey dude how r u?this is 4 open loop in australia,with (hopefully) stage 1 d/l +se a/c ,s&s slip ons.just ran diag. 4 u and got code Pn 32386-06 different again.figure that 1.

 

The number you got IS in fact the calibration map that's currently flashed to your ECM. If that's what it says then that's what it is. Either your dealer gave you a different download than you thought you were getting or you wrote your number down wrong that you thought you were getting. I'm not sure what modifications those two map calibrations that you mentioned call for but the number displayed is in fact what is currently in the ECM. You may want to ask your dealer and figure out where the confusion is. It's entirely possible that the number that's being displayed is the stock ECM flash part number and your dealer forgot to give you your Stage 1 download...again it's probably something you should check out with them to be sure.

To back up what I'm saying is true about the number displayed being the map that is flashed, I ran this a long time ago and got the part number for my Stage 1 flash (I don't remember what that is) but I've since got a SERT and have re-flashed my ECM with a different map and now it says 141N001-0 as my number. That's the SERT calibration that I've currently got running.

You got me wondering.. I just had the stage I done at my 1k service.. I didn't notice any differance in performance, so I followed your led.
My invoice says I paid for part #34238-06.. But when I ran the diagnostic utility, it reported PN #32384-06.. Same as you , I'm wondering if we both got had, or if we're missing something.. Could someone please help us out on this.. What we need is for someone to verify that #32384-06 is indeed the stock number,, and someone with a Stage I that shows #34238-09 in diagnostic's..

this is great. on my paperwork, it says i have 34265-06, & when I did the diagnostic check, it says I have 32384-06. What the hell is that ?? Let me know if you would...

We need someone with the stock set-up to give us some numbers... I'm starting to wonder why the diagnostics utilitiy is giving all of us the same part number.. You would'nt think we all got had...or would ya??

 

my number is for the stage 1 download for the 1550, not the 1450. that may explain some popping ( if it's right ).
