03 FXD Bought in March of 03 with 7 miles on it and as of today it has 45,367 on it .

 

07 SuperGlide 17 months 16000 miles. I only ride from April through October, due to SALT and snow. Oh yeah, and hunting season.

 

Wow! You've put 7,000 miles on a bike you won't even be buying for another two months!!! ????

 

Hahaha, I was thinking the same thing! LOL. Bought 12/1/2008, eh? Impressive.. never met someone who could put mileage on a vehicle without even owning it!

 

2008 Super Glide Custom. Bought it in February and have 9300 miles so far. All of them with a smile from ear to ear!

 

Brought it home 6/28/08 hit 5,000 miles today.

 

2009 Fat Bob. Had it two months, and have put a little over 3,600 miles on it.

Put about the same on a 2008 Sportster. Bought that in late April, and traded for the Fat Bob first week of August.

How do you guys put so many miles on? Just pleasure riding? I've got 43xx on my '06 Vespa since Feb '06. Then again, I use it as a commuter and live 2 miles from work, 2 blocks from grocery store, across the street from bank,etc. Basically, my world is quite close. Miles are hard to rack up without intentionally trying.


That could be 12 January....
