Get a trailer, generator, PA system and some big assed speakers. Mic the pipes & crank the PA up as loud as it will go.

If you still don't feel you're being annoying enough, blast Barry Manilow tunes at the same time.

Default Thunderheader

Thunderheader Pipes are my favorite pipes, you can find them on eBay, used, all the time. I paid about 650 bucks for them new, Sound great after you burn them in(about one or two months)

Does anybody have any thoughts or experience with the V&H Competition series 2/1? I'm taking the plunge into those next month.

I know this thread is old but... i have the quiet baffles in the 02 FXDP and they are still loud when you spank it...the regular baffles were REALLY LOUD... can't imagine w/o baffles...I am getting ready to sell these and replacing them with screaming eagle system...It's the wifes bike and she want's more quiet.

I have Bassani pro street turnouts on my superglide and its kind of loud. Not major loudness but i get noticed which coming from a super quiet triumph scrambler is actually a nice thing. At first I had that oh **** moment, these pipes are too loud but with helmet on and a few months of riding with them I have adjusted and really like hearing what the bike is doing.
