shift light
has anybody thought of or put a shift light on there bike, I was thinking it would look good on the bike what are your thoughts on this idea, thought i`d ask here since I`ve gotten great advice from here
thanks Jeff |
A shift light? You mean so you can find the shifter in the dark?
|
I just bought one off of eBay last week. Haven't had a chance to mount it yet but I do think they are a good idea. With the shift light and the Dynojet quick shifter I hope to break into the 11s next time I make it to the track.

uaf. I checked e-bay and couldent find anything for an hd do you have the person or store where you got it from

I didn’t get a Harley specific shift light. The one I got is made by Stewart Warner and is the same one we are using on the drag bike. The reason I went with the S&W is that it’s has a very bright light that is easy to see in the day light and it also has a peck recall so you can check and see the highest RPM that you hit during the run. Here is the item # of the one I got on eBay 250323051723

This thing revs so fast, I tend to hit the limiter if I can't hear. Mine lights up really bright and easy to see. And it is streamlined at about the diameter of a US quarter dollar. pictures below.

Kinda big at an inch and five eighths. My MSD doesn't have the recall. Good luck at crackin into the 11s. Mighty quick. What's a Dynojet quick shifter?? I like the sound of that. mud........ http://img522.imageshack.us/img522/2...es3286agv9.jpg . . http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/5...es3283aqx2.jpg . |
