A shift light? You mean so you can find the shifter in the dark?

I just bought one off of eBay last week. Haven't had a chance to mount it yet but I do think they are a good idea. With the shift light and the Dynojet quick shifter I hope to break into the 11s next time I make it to the track.

I didn’t get a Harley specific shift light. The one I got is made by Stewart Warner and is the same one we are using on the drag bike. The reason I went with the S&W is that it’s has a very bright light that is easy to see in the day light and it also has a peck recall so you can check and see the highest RPM that you hit during the run. Here is the item # of the one I got on eBay 250323051723

The one I use is MSD Jeff.

thoughts??
if you're wanting it for looks,
yeah I guess it looks good.

as for utility,
I like it best when I've got someone runnin hard, right close behind,
interfering with me being able to hear my motor.
This thing revs so fast, I tend to hit the limiter if I can't hear.

Mine lights up really bright and easy to see.
And it is streamlined at about the diameter of a US quarter dollar.

pictures below.

You got that thing for 57 bux??
That's a price that seems like it would be hard to beat.

Kinda big at an inch and five eighths.
My MSD doesn't have the recall.

Good luck at crackin into the 11s. Mighty quick.

What's a Dynojet quick shifter??
I like the sound of that.
