Hey, guys. I haven't been on in a long time...maybe that is good and means the bike hasn't had any real problems!
Recently I pulled up to a red light and as I shifted into first I heard a noticeable "pop". I looked around and didn't see anything but when the light turned and I shifted to second the linkage did not "return". I had to tap it down with my toe to "reset" it so I could shift to third and again to get to fourth, etc. Same thing downshifting - had to tap it down with my heel. I am assuming there is some kind of return spring in the case that I broke or that came off. Any ideas before I start tearing it down?
