there is no real upsweep on the fatcat... the boarzilla has an upsweep. The boarzilla is for over 105" motor. Stock to 103" get the fatcat. The pipe is nice and low below the pax pegs. Less chance of interference than stock pipes. The sound, performance, and quality of the D&D is outstanding. They only cost about 550 through zanottis too... I like the look of the 06+ better than mine.

I'm running Samson Boloney cuts on my bike now, but I'm really leaning toward the Fatcat, it's surely a great looking pipe.

I have the Fatcat muffler with the quiet baffle, in matt black off my 07 FXD for sale if you are interested. I wanted something more quiet, so I switched to a Supertrapp muffler.

PM me if you are interested, it is like new, maybe 1500 miles or so.

Default Fatcat Noise Level
Gregbenner,I'd just about decided on the Fatcat with Q,Baffle.Now you've got me worried, I don't want an overly loud pipe,we ride 2up 95% of the time & i don't,want to annoy my wife,or the Police,in that order,ok i'm a whimp.

The Fat Cat is mellow and subtle if you keep your wrist under control.
Twist that throttle and it will roar, but nowhere near the obnoxious level of straight pipes or shorties

+2 keeping the wrist under control. It is hard thing to control when you are having fun..

Default another fatcat
Bart, here's a pic of another D&D Fatcat on an '06 StreetBob. My passenger has ridden 1500 miles on the back with no complaints(...about heat from the pipes). Actually, not many complaints at all! We took our honeymoon on this bike. Jay
