I just went out and measured. I'm gonna go with the 572's and short risers for the bike. Just curious but what has to be done to change out the throttle cable and clutch cable? I didn't know if the outer primary cover has to come completely off or what? Also what is involved on the throttle cable change out? I've changed clutch and throttle cables out on dirt bikes but those were simple change out without having to remove much if anything. Thanks.
For the clutch you just gotta pull off the tranny cover, get the cable out and put the new one in. The throttle cables need to come off up at the hand grip first so you have enough slack to get the other end off the throttle body, may not have to for a carb, but that's what I did on my '08.
Just got off the phone with them and they (by the way have GREAT customer service) can get black apes.. Have them in stock in 14" and 16".. Hum so i am thinking. 2" risers.. and should i go 14" or 16"???

I think 14 black would kick *** on your bike!!!!!
14 has me right at shoulder height, 16 would have me reaching upward.
I am 5"11"

don't forget to drain the tranny fluid before pulling the clutch cover
