I just bought a HD rocker box mounted oil pressure gage, it is a nice gage except for the line that they give you.Does anyone know if someone makes a direct fit braided steel hose in place of the one that is supplied. Thanks

 

I got the same kit, the hose is a POS.

The local bike shop ordered a braided hose kit made by Russell.

Call J&P Cycle and tell them what you got and what you need, I think I've seen the same thing in their catalog.

I recomend the Russel kit. It has a better looking adapter than the HD, and the hose has the compression fittings built in so all you have to do is screw them on.

I suggest waiting till your next oil change, if you don't drain the oil first it's gonna be a little messy when you install the adapter.
Don't forget to use some teflon tape or pipe sealant too. Easy job though.
