I didnt get mine with Biker Gel as I got a great deal on it from Phat performance....there was no gel option. I figure if I need to I can add it later.
I just put one on my WG.
Anyone go for the "Biker Gel" option and give a review? Is it worth it?
Thanks
Duff
From what I read, most think the gel helps but it is a judgement call and you will have lots of opinions all over the place. The Lepera gel is a bit stiff.
If you want to make the seat as comfy as possible, think more about spending your $$ on an airhawk cushion instead of a gel option.
Agree, like the stock FB seat very much and good looks to.We had an LePera Silhouette seat
on one of our earlier bikes and the comfort was very bad.(our opinion)
I just put a lepera silhouette 2 up on my 08 fat bob...it's the up front version for those of us with a smaller in seam. Very comfortable seat so far....
How comfy is it for the passenger?
I was looking for a dual seat to put on my future SB and Le Pera seems to produce exactly what I want: good looking seats goes well with the design of the bike :-)
I'd say it's probably not too bad for scooting around town for a passenger....not sure if it would be a comfy seat for a passenger for a long ride. I have the stock seat for longer rides if I am going to have a passenger.
fwiw, i have the lepera maverick (no gel) on my fxdc.
we did a 180 mile ride last weekend, and my wife was as happy on the 180th mile as on the first. it really made a huge difference for her and we both couldnt be happier with the seat.
there is a thread floating around here where i posted a bunch of pictures of the seat on the bike.
