Putting mid controls back on this weekend/next week - Gaskets/seals?

Hey guys,

I'm putting my mid controls back on either this weekend or next week. My question is, what gaskets/seals do I need to buy to replace? Just trying to get everything ready for when I get this going.

Thanks!
Adrian

primary seal, starter oring, gasket between engine and primary, primary cover gasket, small round gasket that goes over shifter shaft. better replace the primary bearing while its apart. do you have the shorter trans shifter arm the mids use??

Boo! Why put the mids back on?

Because their more fun riding the twisties. Can't dive into corners with forwards like you can with mids. I'm glad I kept mine.

Yea I know some people like mids better (I don't) but I was just giving Adrian a hard time. ;)

I have thought about replacing the IPB, but no sense in replacing something that aint broke and runs fine. I haven't had any issues with it yet (knock on wood) but I'm sure when the time comes, I'll do it. But for now, its staying.

I do have the short shifter arm. SuperFastGlide was gracious enough to send me everything I needed. Thanks for the reply!

Dammit I hate waiting :icon_rant:
What the hell do you have planned?

Mids were one of the reasons I bought my FXDC. It's nice to stand up once in a while or lift your ass off the seat when going over railroad tracks or other large bumps. Can't do that with forwards. No comparison when running through the twisties either.

Actually I can lift my ass off the seat with forwards just not longer than a couple seconds. I've always owned bikes with mids except the last 2 bikes. I didn't think I'd like forwards at first but damn, I love them now.
