Thumbs up Get my new V&H SS on.(pics)

I receive and install my new Vance and Hines Short shot. The sound is loud, but not annoying (maybe a little bit for the neighbors... LOL)
Love it.

Very nice!
Can't wait till mine sounds like a Harley and not a moped. I actually pulled my stock exahust off and pulled out the fiberglass packing, and now it has a little better sound.

I had the SS and I really didn't like the sound...it was just loud and tinny or hollow sounding to me.

If you want a really nice sound from them, get the optional quiet baffles.

The quiet baffles are NOT QUIET...they just lower the tone and will give you a true big-bike growl. It gives it a fuller, deeper sound. They also offer a little more back pressure.

There were a lot of people who switched to them...search if interested.

Default I have had mine

on since new in 06. They will get louder in time. I would replace the baffles with BCT.
