Default Great ride today...

with PKellyMc, me and Ratbob. Did a couple hundred miles around Mt Ranier National Park. Great weather and some great sites to see. Here's a couple of photos for ya:The bikes in a campground we stopped at

Mt Ranier, the tallest mountain in the continental US

and me standing in front of the largest tree in Washington state

It was a great ride and Patrick was a splendid tour guide.

I last saw that mountain in 1972, and forgot how pretty it really is against a clear sky. Thanks !

I do remember whenever weather was discussed, the locals would ask if the "mountain was out", and never if the "sun was out".

Man, I wish I could have been there. I almost was able to sneak away.

We missed you Tige, sorry for the late notice. The weather couldn't have been better, and Patrick knew all the right stops. Thanks Don and Patrick for making my last day of vacation a memorable one.

That looks awesome. Wish I lived near nice rides like that.
I gotta ride at least 3-4 hrs to get to spots only a tenth that nice.
Looks like it was a great day for it too.
