Default Barebacks on Fatbob?

I am going to put a set of harley distressed leather bags on my 2008 Fatbob. I have harley quick release hardware on now for the backrest. Has anyone used the barebacks for adding bags to the quick release. How do you like them and a part number for the ones I need. Thanks Mike.

I wish I could tell ya, my barebacks are on backorder...should be in by the end of this month

I can give you my 2cents on the "distressed" bags from HD. I bolted them up at night and like a dumbass rode down the the dealer in the morning to get someother crap for my baby...that is when I noticed "distressed" to HD means brown dye. Not much if any barb wire marks, just brown. The worse part of the story....I had installed them, was standing there with the GM getting "opinions" of how knarly my ride is. and so now I cant return them due to them being used.

They still look good which is why I diddnt fight my dealer on the return but I wish I had just bought black and wore them out myself IMHO.

There are some pics of the bags on my bag in one of my albums if you want to peek

Was at the dealer the other day and they had both brown and black distressed leather bags. I am thinking the black but the brown have a retro look that's not bad. Brown pt.no.88348-10 black- 88200-09.

I think its a great look given the current options. Still getting used to bags on the dyna models, but I would say that the distressed are the best looking out there in my opinion..

Give them time...they will look better as they age. I think they look great! I'm still trying to find bucks for the seat. I have a set of Boss Bags that I think I'm going to sell to get the distressed add-ons.

Use Bailey's Back to Black on them and they will look like you want them to and be a little more waterproof.

oh yeah..I ordered my barebacks yesterday so I'll let you know when I get them. they better work.
