Loud to 'me' is not the same as loud to 'you' or 'others'. I have the SE slip ons, they are loud enough for me. They seem to get louder with the more miles I put on them as well. When I first put them on I felt they had just a little more "thud" and "growl" to them than stock. It's been awhile but I think after few hundred to a thousand miles on them is about the time that they started to sound great to my ears. Are they as loud as some, No, but they are the perfect volume for me. If you want the volume to set off car alarms I suggest you look eslewhere.

Cheers.

Tom

all Harley pipes, stock ,or screaming eagle slip ons , are all EPA passing.period. and for those that like a traditional Harley sound u must buy another brand ,aftermarket. luckily your choices are endless. for those that like the stock sound,...... WTF?

Finding the old SE's that will fit a Fat Bob might be tricky.

a friend of mine put the new SE on his FBob. At first he thought they had a good sound.....UNTIL he heard a FB with V&H. The following week he replaced the SE. Not loud enough.

the new SE's suck!! Mine came with them and I got rid of them quick. I got the V&H slip ons and I like them a lot. Here's a video of the V&H slip ons from a distance!

I like my SE slip-ons.They have a good sound to me but aren't loud enough to wake up the neighborhood when I go to work at 4 AM.

If YOU like them, buy them. If after you run them for a while and wish they were louder, swap out the baffles for some thunder monster baffles.
