run brake turn kit. Available at stealer. module goes under the seat and you change the orange signal covers for the red ones. I think it's about 50 bucks or so.

It plugs 'in line' (plug-N-play, as they say) with the rear wiring plug under the seat. Lots of people use it with the factory brake light for additional visability to the traffic behind you.

Module takes about 30 seconds to install. I recommend the Biketronics one over a HD one though since they offer a lifetime warranty.

The rear signals are single element so no way to wire it yourself unless you replace the signals with a dual element one (one guy on here did do that) but probally just as much money to do that and alot more time.

It really makes a nice difference.

Buy the Harley module. It's available at any Harley dealer. Including taking off and putting the seat back on, plugging in the module and changing the turn signal lenses from amber to red; it took me 15 minutes. But 10 minutes of that was because I had to readjust my FuelPak which is also stowed under the seat. This is a must do improvement for safety.

I have had two of the HD controllers and they both have messed up. I'm done with them.

My first HD one went out and thats why I switched to the Biketronics one. No problems with it so far and it has a lifetime warranty.

I contacted Biketronics twice via email before my purchase and they got back with me quickly and were very helpful.

Will it work with led bulbs?

I had to add a load equalizer as well. I have the LED taillight, LED front and rear turn signals. You may get by without one if just running rear LED turn signals but yes it works fine with LED's.

I'm not using this one, but I'm a big fan of Badlands products.

EDIT - It's a run/turn/brake & load equalizer all wrapped up into 1 plug-n-play unit
