Default Made some changes to '06 -- Now a convertible

I liked the struts, drag bars and solo rig. But there must be Domestic Tranquility (the wife wants to ride), and those things were not compatible with same. So I made some changes. T-bars, chrome, Corbin seat, Progressive 412's. The solo rack pops off and the backrest/rack pops on (HD products), pillion with suction cups works quite well, windshield is HD quick-disconnect, Mutazu bags (which will be replaced with larger ones) are connected via Easy-Brackets. Whole thing can go from solo to "bagger" or back in less than 5 minutes. Wife is happier.

Nice looking scoot. Where do you pick up the passenger seat?

Thanks for the kind words.

MasterGunz -- there are a number of people who make or sell these suction-cup pillions. I got this one from Dennis Kirk, where they are sold under the brand name "Danny Gray." Seems reasonably well made, and works better than I expected.

SURFOR -- the headlight is an Ultima, which I had powder coated locally.

bberck -- your posts and photos have been an inspiration, and also helped me resolve some issues. The Accutronix clamp that is mounted to the t-bar risers and holds the speedo was something I learned about from you. Thanks again.

Gotta love the detachable stuff. I just got the same solo rack. That is gonna be nice. Before I was swapping out the seat and clamping on the sissy bar with luggage rack just to carry a thing or two around in a roll bag. Now I can just use the solo rack. The 2-up couch, I mean seat, and sissy bar setup can stay reserved for when she wants to ride only.

Good job - scoot is looking nice.

Nice ride!! Any issues with the suction-cup seat...would you buy another if you had to do it all over again?
