Default Engine cutting off

Last weekend I fueled up and rode about 5 miles and noticed at every stoplight when I would back off of the throttle my bike would shut off. It starts right back up, but if anyone has any words of wisdom I'd surely appreciate it before I take it into the shop.

One thing I would check is the plug gap and overall condition..

I set mine one thou below the reccomended maximum.

I have noticed that minimal settings can result in the engine cutting out..

While they`re out, give them a clean..

Regards..

Good advice on the plugs.

Could be plugs - could be fuel. I had the same problem about a month ago on a ride. Problem cleared itself up after about 100 miles.

Check your idle control (IAC) or something like that. There was a thread not too long ago where someone with more knowledge than me was suggesting the IAC. If I find the thread I'll link to it here.
