Default Finally finished Saddlebags

After countless hours of work and tons of trial and error I have finally finished my saddlebags and put them on my bike to try out.

Here is what the final result looks like.

You need to copyright those. How do they handle the road?

Please explain. I may have missed something. Are these bags you hand made yourself?

Don't know how they handle the road yet, still winter around here. Today was the last step in fitting the bags on the aluminium plates and positioning them right.

Yes they are all hand made, bought the leather, braided them, bought aluminium for the plate and the motifs on the bags. Polished those on the bags and put black gravel guard on the backplates to match the texture of the transmission case.

Thank you for this thread. And I love the work. As I would like to make my own bags… my question to you is how did you attach your bags?
