There is a new unique license plate / tag bracket that lets you mount your tag either horizontal or vertical with the same bracket. I have one on my Strreet Bob, it works great and is made of excellent craftsmanship. The site is Americanbikeworks.com. Check it out!

 

Looks ok but my tag is pretty flimsy so I dont think I would feel comfortable with just one side being held by the mount.

 

Fab Kevin created the idea of a side mount that you can change from horizontal to vertical. His is bulletproof and VERY strong.

Fabkevin has some cool stuff. Thanks for the link. I do like the one from AmericanBikeWorks because it gives me the look I want, slim line and simple. It is actually very strong.
