85 dyna low rider?

Minor historical correction - the Dyna name didn't come into play until 1991 when the FXDB Dyna Glide Sturgis was introduced.
In 1985 you most likely have a FXRS or possibly the more rare FXRC Low Ride Custom. 85 was also the "transition year". The shovelhead was being phased out though still appeared in some bikes until they used them all up. The Evo was the new engine.
Lots of 85 FXs had a mish mash of parts, making them a real bear to restore.
It would help if you posted a pic of your speedo so we could see exactly which type you're dealing with.
