Well...I just took the plunge and ordered a new C&C Fastback seat w/removable backrest and mercedes leather. All of you guys on here were right about their customer service...top notch so far. They did sound very busy and said that mine would be out within 10 days. One thing for any of you future C&C order makers out there, make sure you tell them you are an HDForums.com member BEFORE ordering.

On top of the seat, I also decided to splurge and buy a new set of leathers from Fox Creek. The Vented Reflector Jacket and a set of Lined Chaps. The Jacket will be on my doorstep Friday and is already en route! I'll have to wait for the chaps though since I'm an "odd-ball" size (Medium waist, Large thigh, Long length). With the completely unpredictable weather patterns up here, carrying a set of liners is almost a must.

I hope I'm completely satisfied with both of my purchases. I've been researching both companies here and the internet for about 3 straight months. With the snow going away quickly and the temperatures rising (mid 40's....pretty darn good for Fairbanks, Alaska!!) it'll be time to break in the new bike any day! I'll post pictures when I get everything.

I have put about 14k on my C&C so far and still love it. It also still looks like brand new.

 

I forgot when I placed my order. Did you get a discount? My seat will be here tomorrow.

 

I did get a discount. He was very adamant about knowing you are a member before ordering b/c of all the past customers calling after purchasing saying they were.

 

Your bike is one of my favorites on this forum. It was the first one I saw with the seat and said to myself "self, you gotta get one of those."

 

Oh well, he didn't charge me extra for the Mercedes leather so I guess I'm good.

 

I just got a Fox Creek jacket a couple months ago and I couldn't be happier with the customer service and quality of the jacket. I also ordered a set of the Dyna saddlebags a month or so later. Again an awesome product.

 

Dang I didn't know about the discount. I ordered my fastback seat last week. At that time they said it would be about 2 and a half weeks.

 

I too have bought from both C&C and Fox Creek, based on recomendations from this site and was extremely satisfied with both. Both are top notch in customer service and quality products. It's so nice to do business with people who still give a ****!

 

I got about 500 miles on my C&C solo and love it so far!! I got the mercedes leather and I think it looks awesome. They told me 2 and a half weeks and said they were busy too, but I got it in 7 days.
