Default oh gloss black, gloss black, gloss black.

i was reading the other post going on in here where some fella is having some serious headaches with his denim paint, so i went out to the shed to spend some QT with my bike...

yesterday before i took off for a nice 100 mile ride i did a nice detailing on it. swirlX, tech wax, followed by a nice buffing, shined my chrome, and off i went.

came back, cleaned some bug guts off my pipes and wiped some dust off with a quick detailer.

now, less than 24 hours later, SITTING IN A SHED, my bike got FILTHY.

it was covered in a fine layer of very visible dust.

so of course, wash, rinse, repeat, i was compelled to do the whoooooooole procedure again.

bike looks incredible, though, and i found a looser than desired header pipe bolt.

so there's my complaint/admiration about/for my bike. i hate that she won't stay clean but hot damn do i love rubbing her down.

I just ride mine and let the rain wash it...seriously though, I wash mine once a week with the denim black paint. That's it.

where would i find said rag, joe?

i'd like to just get the dust off and hit it wiht some detailer before going out.

although i don't really mind, i shouldn't have to wax every other day.
