They may be too high for you, but I bought my 13" apes on eBay intenally wired, new levers, switches, everything all chromed (I requested black switches, but could have had chromed) AND it came with all the braided cables and lines for about $700. The bars are 1.25 diameter, and I believe they are burly bars. See pic below. I absolutely LOVE them!

I also added a 14" X 14" Aerovest windscreen which perfectly fits in front of the bars, and keeps the wind from pushing your chest back, but you still get the wind in the face.

If you are willing to do the install, or have a bud help you, you could save HUNDREDS of dollars on the install....wouldn't THAT be nice?

I have since pushed them forward to where they are vertical.

The stealership quoted me $700 just for labor to install apes on my 11 WG. I figured if it was reasonable i would have them do it but for that much?!! I'm planning to pick up a manual and the pre-wired bars and do it myself. (cross your fingers) LOL

 

its easier than you think. i did it over the winter. was going to take a video and alot of pics but it went so smooth i never got around to doing it. goood luck and just take your time.
