Does the '05 Wide Glide have a dip stick? If not, what is the dip stick looking thing on the right side of the bike? I am referring to the black round thing to the right of the pipe. (See attached picture). I need to know if i should change the oil and then figure out how.

 

That is a dipstick. Change your oil and filter. There are plenty of threads here on how to do it, but you really need to buy a shop manual. And an owner's manual too, since it must not have come with the bike.
