I replied to your tank lift message, I'll see what I can do for you.
There's something about the colors and the tank sticker that catches my eye.

Hey another early Dyna owner! We are few and far between in these parts
It can be a pain in the butt finding parts at the dealerships. As you have already found out the knowledge of the 'new school' parts guys isn't what it should be. I recently had to walk a parts guy through the process of finding a choke cable for my Low Rider a few weeks back. Follow this link to a Service Manual up for auction on eBay. Parts Manuals can be a little harder to find but, they come up every once and a while for decent prices.
A little history. The Dyna family began in 1991 with the FXDB Sturgis. Harley follwed that with the 92 FXDB Daytona and your FXDC. 1993 brought the Low Rider and Wide Glide. The Super Glide followed in 1995.The Dyna frame was redesigned in 1996. For a really good article on the Dyna platform check this out, 4-Speed Swansong
In answer to your question about seat suppliers, just about all of the aftermarket makers have seats available for your bike. Just look for ones for 91 to 95 Dynas. Saddlemen has a good selection as well as LePera , and of course, Corbin and Mustang

My bike is not for sale Rudedog but I can tell you this .... I ripped the first pic in the above thread off fleabay ebay. Thats 1992 fxdc with the bags is from ebay and its in the buyit now for $8900 or so. Search under harley davidson 1992 only about 20 or so to look thru. My pic shows alot of junk laying around on Starvation Ridge Farm (What I call home)) like the multi color 1985 chevy s10 with the rare factory diesel option gettin about 37 mpg. Us folks here in Tn. like our junk and I likes mine like steak...... rare!
