Thanks!
The total build took 75 days.

The tank was from V-Twin mfg, fenders were Ebay specials. The engine was scrubbed, cleaned and painted with Dupli-color semi gloss engine enamal. Wheels were off a 03 wide glide. Calipers were upgraded from a 2000 dyna (old ones were huge and ugly). The rear swing arm is off a 2000 (needed it for the newer caliper). Forks are 41mm wide glide forks (replaced the stock narrow glide) Wheels now have sealed bearings instead of the tapered ones......Tons of little stuff. Every nut and bolt has been cleaned and painted or chrome.

Here are a couple before pics

Man it's kind of funny--I flew to Edmonton last Wednesday and bought about 3 magazines at the airport. One of the mags I bought had three pages about this exact thing--doing a 1990-1999 bike for under $9999.00. The bike that was in the magazine I picked up was a bagger and the guy did a great job as well. Only thing is I can't remember which magazine it was and I tossed all 3 in the trash when I was done reading them. Congrats.

I talked to chad every step of the way, even did the powder work on the bike, i can assure you he did it under 9,999.00... when you turn your own wrenches and have buddies in the custom paint/powder fields and are willing to get creative you dont need deep pockets just the ***** to tear it down

my personal favorite is how chad kept to his style, always a gear head he build the motor then the bike! love that, i really am pleased that you decided to keep the cycle shacks those pipes fit that bike PERFECT and being such a nice pipe they only help that motor make power

said it again and again man, great job! ha ha ha ha if you get bored now come on over to the shop! got 3 builds going, dont want you to get bored now! nYour attention to detail and how you will not settle for anything under perfection really shows though... little details like all the bolts being painted, just sets this bike on a whole new level!
