shocks+bad roads=sheared bolt

Same thing happened to me- top right shock bolt sheared in half with the OEM shocks on my '06 Street Bob when I hit a pothole. Bottomed out. Bham. I upgraded to Ohlins shocks- no more bolt problems. May be cheaper ways to solve the problem- no. 12 bolts?- but the shocks improve handling and comfort, too. Good luck. Jay
