What do you mean by "new" SE2s??

I thought HD had discontinued SE2 this year - they only have SE1 exhaust now???

Warren888 you're right they are discontinued. I bought mine awhile back and was trying to figure out which way I would approach the tune. I opted for the download for simplicity and warranty issues. Keep an eye on the classifieds cause people change pipes like socks here and SE-II's come and go quickly.

How loud are they at low RPMs. I want something quiet at low RPMs (similar to stock) but loud when you get on it. Reason is I live in base housing (8 story appartment complex overseas) and I don't want to wake up the Moms and Babies (lots of echo between the buildings) when I head out early in the AM. Thoughts?

Power is a funny thing , it's quite addictive. When I first rode my WG3 after doing a stage IV 95" torque build , I though WHOA nelly , now after 8K miles I'm used to it and am thinking .. a 103 with bigger cams would be nice ....

They are a good bit louder then stock at idle. They get much louder when you twist on it. I leave for work at 6:30 am. The loudness is not as much tied to rpm as it is when you put a load on the engine. If you are gental with the throtle they are not to bad. Your neighbors are going to hear you leave in the morning, but I dont know if it will be loud enough in their house to complain.

Thanks for the info. If I go with them will I need to remap the FI? I know if I increase the air intake I will but if I leave the stock airfilter in place I don't believe a remap will be required. Thoughts?

No, you will not need to remap with only mufflers.
